Whatd u do to save money on your wedding?
I just recently got engaged and decided to start planning the wedding in may. I think its crazy to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on one day so please tell me, whatd you do to save money at your wedding!
Outdoor weddings can be cheap, but that all depends on facilities nearby/how many guests you’re going to invite. If you have more guests having to rent a tent as a backup in case of rain, renting porto-pottys can add up.
Cutting the guest list can help. If there are people you really want to invite but can’t afford to, invite them to the reception after the dinner.
Finding caterers on the cheap can help alot or doing the food yourself by enlisting the help of family and friends can help alot with the cost.
Have a stag and doe before the wedding to help raise money, also consider that alot of family and friends will probably give you cash on your big day.
When going dress shopping make sure to get the designer’s name and the style name or number written down to compare prices online later. I did this and I got the dress of my dreams for $700 cheaper. I never would have been able to afford it otherwise.
